San Luis Obispo City Council approves agreements with two unions

Posted

The San Luis Obispo City Council on Tuesday approved two three-year agreements with the Fire Union and the group of Unrepresented Management Employees.

City officials say the agreement with the firefighters’ union settles four outstanding labor issues, including a lawsuit that claimed overtime pay violations which will cost the city about $55,000.

The city is still reportedly working with bargaining representatives from the Police Officers Association and the San Luis Obispo City Employees Association to reach agreements with those unions.
