2018 Miss California Mid-State Fair announced

Ashley Davis, 20, of Paso Robles, has been crowned the 2018 Miss California Mid-State Fair. She is a sixth generation native of a local cattle ranching family and currently attends Cal Poly.

Ashley Davis is currently a part of Cal Poly’s Young Cattleman’s Committee and has volunteered for SLO County Special Olympics, Paso Robles Children’s Museum, Paso Robles Harvest Marathon, and the Salvation Army. 

Davis describes herself as friendly, tenacious, dedicated, humble, and proud.

"Food, Fiber, and Fitness" is Davis’ platform of healthy food and fitness for children with special needs, and includes educational presentations, handouts and fun fitness demonstrations.

First runner-up and Miss Congeniality went to 18-year-old Kimberly White of Oceano. 

Second runner-up was 19-year-old Codie Wilshusen of San Miguel.
