Temperatures will remain steady through most areas through Wednesday with coastal valleys hitting the mid-70s, beaches reaching mid-60s and inland locations seeing temperatures in the 80’s.
The typical marine layer trend is expected to continue with overnight clouds and some clearing in the afternoon hours. A little cooling is expected Tuesday with a slightly deeper marine layer and continued gusty west/southwest winds.
Independence day is slightly warmer as onshore flow weakens and high pressure builds.
Record temperatures and dangerous fire weather conditions are likely Friday and Saturday. A large south well is expected to bring dangerous surf and rip currents as well.
