Onshore flow continues through mid-week

Posted

Onshore flow will keep temperatures slightly below ‘normal’ through Wednesday as the marine layer continues to make an influence off the coast.

Low clouds have cleared in the afternoon in most areas with the exception of North Coast areas like Morro Bay and Cayucos.

Temperatures will remain in the mid-70s in coastal valleys, high 60s on the beach and high 80s inland.

The big question ahead of Independence Day is whether or not fireworks will be seen through any low clouds.

The marine layer is expected to deepen and push inland Monday night into Tuesday with the continued onshore flow. Clouds should dissipate in most areas by early afternoon each day.
