Mild temperatures and afternoon winds continue

Posted

There isn’t much change in the forecast on Friday. Morning marine layer will hang along the coastline and in the coastal valleys ahead of late morning clearing.

Temperatures for the inland valleys will range from the upper 80s to the low 90s. Coastal valley daytime highs will mostly be in the mid to upper 70s, while the beaches will range from the low 60s to the low 70s.

Winds will continue to be a factor on Friday. For the most part, expect northwest winds at the beaches to be around 5-15 miles per hour in the afternoon with gusts up to 20 mph. The inland valleys will also have westerly winds in the same range with gusts up to 25 mph. Heading into the weekend, conditions will remain fairly consistent.
