SATURDAY, JUNE 29
Templeton Beer Run
7:30 a.m. – registration
8 a.m. – Beer Run starts
Barrel House Brewing Company, 3055 Limestone Way, Paso Robles
This 5K fun run is a fundraiser for the Templeton Recreation Department. It includes a 5 oz. beer taster at the start line and a full pint at the finish. A non-alcoholic beverage option will also be available. The event will also include live music by the band Bad Obsession and food available for purchase.

Marine Swap Meet
8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Morro Bay Maritime Museum, 1210 Embarcadero Rd., Morro Bay
Items for sale will include boats, watercraft, marine supplies, boat building tools and equipment, marine hardware, fishing equipment, scuba and dive gear, surfboards and surfing-related items, and nautical art and collectibles.

"Bark for Books!" Dog Races
10:30 a.m. – registration
1:15 p.m. – dog races begin
Ferrini Park, Bell Street and Centennial Street, Los Alamos
Local canines will compete in various races and competitions, including "Dog Tricks," "Dogs in Costume," and "Dog Kissing." There will also be a raffle, face painting, pet photography, and booths with books for sale. Proceeds from this event benefit Friends of the Los Alamos Public Library.
Free admission.

Historic Summer Theatre

The South County Historical Society presents a Readers Theatre production of "Dune Child – My Story Begins," the autobiographical tale of the only child to live with the Dunites in an artists colony in the Oceano Dunes during the 1930s.

Roller Derby Charity Bout
4-9 p.m.
SLO Skate Park, 1050Oak Street, San Luis Obispo
Watch the Central Coast Roller Derby juniors play at 5 p.m. and the women’s home team, the Microbruisers, at 7 p.m. Central Coast Brew will have beer available for purchase. Proceeds from a raffle benefit Autism Spectrum of SLO.

Art in the Park
10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Dinosaur Caves Park, 2701 Price Street, Pismo Beach
Local artists and craftsmen will present a variety of goods for sale, including paintings, sculptures, pottery, glass art, textiles, jewelry, wood and metal art, plants, and health and beauty items.
