CAL FIRE responded to assist firefighters at Camp Roberts with a vegetation fire that broke out on base late Monday afternoon.
The fire reportedly broke out at a training area known as "Yankee Two."
CAL FIRE said the first firefighters at the scene reported a two-acre fire with a slow rate of spread.
Last week, a fire burned a reported 1,500 acres at the California National Guard base in northern San Luis Obispo County.
