Foggy morning ahead of near triple digit temperatures for the inland valleys

Posted

Wednesday is another warm day for the inland valleys with potential for daytime highs to reach the triple digits. Paso Robles, Shandon, California Valley and San Miguel will all likely break 100 degrees Wednesday and remain that way through the end of the week.

Wednesday will be a day where we’ll see how microclimates vary. The coastal valleys will have temperatures mostly in the mid-70s to mid-80s, while it will be cooler at the beaches and mostly in the 70s.

Patchy morning fog and marine layer will continue to be a factor in the morning ahead of late morning clearing, however, onshore flow will cause breezy conditions and cooler daytime highs along the coastline.
