The Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County (SLO Food Bank) has announced a $50,000 matching challenge underway now through Sept. 15, 2018.
According to the SLO Food Bank, an anonymous donor has agreed to match every dollar donated by the public up to $50,000.
Checks payable to SLO Food Bank can be mailed to 1180 Kendall Rd., San Luis Obispo, CA, 93401. Be sure to write "$50,000 Matching Challenge" on your check.
Donations can also be made on the food bank’s website. Choose "$50,000 Matching Challenge" in the dropdown menu when making your donation.
The SLO Food Bank recently raised more than $100,000 during its Hunger Awareness Day campaign.
