A car ended up in a ditch at a road construction site on Main Street in Templeton on Tuesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, despite signs and traffic cones warning drivers of the road construction, an elderly driver drove through the cones and into the ditch. He reportedly said he did not see the signs or cones until after the crash.
Officers say the ditch was about six feet deep and a couple of feet across.
CHP says there was no one working in the ditch at the time of the crash and the driver suffered only a scratch on his arm.
