A dog missing since a crash in Paso Robles last week will soon be reunited with her owners.
According to posts on the "Find Sophie" Facebook page, the small dog was located Monday afternoon and appeared to be doing OK, despite having been making her way around the area alone since Thursday.
Volunteers had been working together since shortly after the Thursday morning crash off the Highway 46 East offramp hoping to find Sophie and reunite her with her family.
They tell KSBY News Sophie was found after wandering into the garage of a home on Mustang Springs Road Monday where a man was working. Sophie was said to be "in great shape." A vet associated with one of the volunteers reportedly offered to check Sophie out for free.

Lindsay Beery, the dog’s owner, confirmed to KSBY News that Sophie had been found and was with her mother. Beery said she and also her 4-year-old daughter, Olivia, are "so happy" and that she is "overwhelmed with gratitude."
Olivia continues to recover at a hospital in Madera from multiple injuries she sustained in the crash.
