With children out of school for the summer, the City of Atascadero is offering free rides to help them get around town.
Students kindergarten through 12th grade can access free rides on transit buses around the city all summer.
Children just need to present their student ID to the driver to ride anywhere in the city.
Specific dates and route options are available on the City of Atascadero’s Facebook page.
They include:
– Regional Transit Authority (RTA): June 9 – Aug. 15, 2018
– South County Transit (SCT) :June 9 – Aug. 15, 2018
– Paso Express: June 9 – Aug. 15, 2018
– San Luis Obispo Transit: May 28 – Sept. 3, 2018
– Morro Bay Transit: June 9 – Aug. 19, 2018
The program lasts through mid-August.
