There will be an interactive 90-minute workshop designed to help hotels better cater to travelers in the Paso Robles wine country.
This one-of-a-kind workshop will be steered by master sommelier Chuck Furuya of DK Restaurants in Hawaii; Christopher Taranto, communications director at the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance; and Amanda Wittstrom-Higgins, VP of operations at Ancient Peaks Winery.
The cost to attend is $20 and you can registration here.
"Wine, tourism and lodging are intimately linked in our region-and the guest experience at local hotels increasingly depends on having wine-knowledgeable staff," said Wittstrom-Higgins. "This workshop will educate front line hotel employees about the local wine industry, and will give them the tools to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty."
The workshop begins at 9 a.m. on June 12 at the Atascadero City Hall.
This workshop is a satellite event of Wine Speak Paso Robles, a premier trade event that will return to Atascadero on January 7-10, in collaboration with Visit Atascadero.
