Posted

San Luis Obispo police say a man accused of using a fake credit card to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a local appliance store is also responsible for stealing TVs from a San Luis Obispo hotel.

Police Thursday posted surveillance photos of the man on social media from when he checked out of the hotel two days earlier. They say he used a fraudulent credit card to pay for the room and took TVs from the room with him when he left.

The man pictured in a gray shirt, shorts, socks and sandals is one of two men Idler’s Home says used fake credit cards at two of their stores on Tuesday to purchase and load up appliances, furniture and more into a U-Haul before taking off.
