Another 90-degree day for the inland valleys

Posted

Monday will be another really warm day for the inland valleys before it starts to cool down by the middle of the week.

Interior portions of the Central Coast will mostly be in the low to mid-90s. Move closer to the coast and the coastal valleys will range from the mid-70s to mid-80s. At the beaches, temperatures will be a little cooler and will range from the upper 60s to low 70s.

A dense fog advisory will remain in effect for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties through 9:00 a.m. but there will be mostly clear skies by the afternoon. Winds are looking to be fairly calm, too. They’ll mostly be within a 15 mile per hour range, but gusts could reach the 20 to 25 miles per hour around 2:00 p.m. before they calm down around 7:00 p.m.

Looking ahead to the next couple of days, daytime highs will start to cool down. By Wednesday, interior and coastal valleys will mostly be in the low 70s and the beaches will be in the 60s.
