The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night in Nipomo.
Deputies who responded to calls of a shooting in the 700 block of Grande Avenue at around 9:30 that night initially couldn’t find any sign that a shooting had occurred there.
A short time later, a male victim with a gunshot wound arrived at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria. Sheriff’s officials say detectives then determined the shooting had occurred at the location in Nipomo.
The victim was reportedly released from the hospital after being treated for a non-life threatening injury.
No arrests have been made.
