Sun Country Airlines announced Wednesday that it will begin direct flights from Santa Barbara to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport starting Aug. 16, 2018.
The service will run seasonally on Thursdays and Sundays through Dec. 9.
Sun Country is offering introductory fares as low as $109 one-way.
On Tuesday, the Santa Barbara Airport announced that Frontier Airlines would begin direct flights to Denver starting Aug. 21. Allegiant Air is also adding a Monday flight to Las Vegas from the Santa Maria Public Airport.
