A community meeting is planned for Tuesday to talk about the possibility of future debris flows in the Santa Barbara County area.
CAL FIRE and U.S. Forest Service officials have been examining the burn area above Montecito to determine what threat it could pose to the community below if and when a rain event occurs.
Those reports will be presented Tuesday night, including one on the full watershed damage from the Thomas Fire.
FEMA will also be there to talk about new flood maps and flood insurance.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the County Administration Building.
