‘The Voice’ contestant, Orcutt’s Pryor Baird, reminds people to ‘VOTE, VOTE, VOTE’

The top 12 will take to the stage this week on The Voice as the competition heats up.

Last week, Orcutt native Pryor Baird made the cut to be one of those contestants. Now, he is reminding people that in order to "keep going," he needs votes.

Voting this week is different. Baird says the most powerful votes are through the official The Voice app, Xfinity/Cox, NBC.com/VoiceVote and Apple Music streaming of this week’s performance song.

The song Baird performs will be available for purchase from iTunes. Purchasing of the song also counts as a vote.

There will be no voting through Twitter this week.

The audience went wild last week for the Team Blake contestant when he sang Chris Stapelton’s, "I Was Wrong."

Baird posted on the Pryor Baird Page on Facebook that a viewing party will take place Monday and Tuesday night at Rooney’s Irish Pub in Orcutt.

Voting starts at 5 p.m. PST Monday. Season 14 of NBC’s "The Voice" airs Monday and Tuesday nights on KSBY at 8 p.m.
