Santa Barbara County officials are putting together packets to make it easier to file insurance claims for people who lost property or loved ones in the storms.

Officials say to be eligible for insurance compensation, people will need to have proof that they were ordered to evacuate.
Each evacuation is laid out on the website along with resources for filing for flood insurance, getting compensation through the state, rebuilding property and getting legal aid throughout the county.
