Thousands of people filled the Alex G. Spanos Stadium Saturday evening for the 78th Poly Royal Rodeo.
Calf-wranglers and bull riders were among the rodeo performers. Country music artist Aaron Watson also made an appearance.
Rodeo organizers expect an upwards of 11,000 people to attend the rodeo, however, attendance numbers have yet to be released.
This is the second year the Poly Royal Rodeo has been hosted at the Spanos Stadium.
The Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Rodeo Team has been posting to its Facebook page of various events and the work leading up to the event.
