Smoke will likely be visible along the north coast of San Luis Obispo County Wednesday due to a prescribed burn at Hearst San Simeon State Park.
Firefighters will burn brush piles near the intersection of Highway 1 and San Simeon Creek Road.
Crews might also burn some piles near the Washburn Campground.
The burn will happen between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting.
Officials say state parks and CALFIRE crews are conducting the burn to manage vegetation and reduce fire risk in the area.
