The Veterans of Foreign Wars Atascadero group is encouraging young artists to apply for its annual scholarships.
Winners could be awarded as much as $30,000 to help with furthering their education.
Scholarships are open to enrolled students.
There are five different contests that involve writing, videos, canvas art and singing.
Submissions must be made to the local VFW post in Atascadero or by email.
