Total acreage burned was determined to be 0.8 acres.

(Thursday, July 4, 2024) - A vegetation fire is burning in the Lompoc foothills, fire officials said Thursday.
The fire began around 10:06 p.m. and is near the 500 block of South O Place in Lompoc.
About 1 to 2 acres have been burned, fire officials said. The fire has a slow rate of spread.
No homes are threatened.
The cause is under investigation.
