Juliet Lemar is an award-winning reporter and multimedia journalist who’s covered everything from murder to puppies in Los Angeles.
She joined KSBY as the Santa Barbara South Coast community reporter and multimedia journalist in November 2023.
Much of her work has focused on local accountability journalism such as homelessness, disability, and environmental issues. She has extensive experience covering live events, human interest stories, and lifestyle content such as fashion, food & drink culture, and real estate.
She recently won 3rd place at the Los Angeles Press Club awards for her work as an investigative journalist covering the sex trafficking of minors in Santa Barbara County.
Juliet has also won 2 Golden Mike Awards, for Best Digital News coverage for her story on Veterans' homelessness in L.A. and food banks bracing for a 'Hunger cliff' as state benefits were reduced.
As a former National Champion gymnast and NCAA Div. 1 competitor, Juliet brings passion, drive, and commitment to telling the stories of her community by showcasing the most pressing issues and uplifting moments through the perspective of the people living it.
