Multimedia Journalist - Juliet Lemar

Juliet Lemar is an award-winning multimedia journalist who’s covered everything from murder to puppies from the Central Coast to L.A.

She joined KSBY as the Santa Barbara South Coast community reporter and multimedia journalist in November 2023.

She is a five-time RTNA Golden Mike Award winner for Best Investigative Reporting, Best Hard New Feature, and Best Digital News Reporting (three years in a row). Reporting on issues ranging from hazardous health conditions at the Santa Barbara County Coroner's office, sex trafficking of minors, the infamous West L.A. Veterans' homeless encampment, to the 'Hunger Cliff' caused by a reduction in CalFresh benefits for SoCal residents.

Additionally, she won 3rd place at the Los Angeles Press Club awards for her work as an investigative journalist covering the sex trafficking of minors in Santa Barbara County.

As a former National Champion gymnast and NCAA Div. 1 competitor, Juliet brings passion, drive, and commitment to telling the stories of her community by showcasing the most pressing issues and uplifting moments through the perspective of the people living it.
