KSBY-TV, the dominant NBC affiliate on California’s beautiful Central Coast, is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and experienced anchor to join our number one rated morning news program. Must love mornings and have the energy to help carry a fast-paced two-hour newscast.
EXPERIENCE:
Two+ years anchor/reporter experience and a degree in Journalism or a related field is required. We need a high energy, solid professional with lots of personality to complement our already seasoned team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate will pride themselves on being up to date on current events, having a strong social media presence, and possessing outstanding verbal and written skills. The winning candidate will be solid and credible on the anchor desk and know what it takes to get people going in the morning. Must be open to constructive criticism, contribute ideas, and be willing to fill in on other shifts when needed. Candidate will already be heavily active on Twitter, Facebook and understand the importance of digital media. After anchoring 2-hour morning show, candidate will shoot, write and edit stories to air in later newscasts and online.
