In our "We're Open Central Coast" segment, we're shining a light on the businesses that make up our community and are staying open during the pandemic.

Casa Manana Mexican Restaurant in Santa Maria is still finding ways to serve the community.

They've had to cut their staff to five people, but they've been able to pivot to pick-up and take-out orders to keep serving.

They say that California loosening restrictions on alcohol sales has allowed them to continue selling margaritas as well.

And they have cleaning supplies on hand to stay sanitized.

"We're gonna stay open unless that state makes us shut down. Then we're gonna keep going and as long as we can I think we'll be ok," said Assistant Manager Jason Ontiveros.

Casa Manana has been serving the Santa Maria community since 1964.

If you're an owner of an essential business keeping the doors open or if you know of one who is we want to hear from you.
