Community members can get free flu shots this Sunday, Oct. 21, in Arroyo Grande and Atascadero.
The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department, City of Atascadero, and Five Cities Fire Authority are partnering to present the clinics.
In Atascadero, free flu shots will be available at the Colony Park Community Center, located at 5599 Traffic Way. In Arroyo Grande, the shots will be offered at Five Cities Fire Authority Station 1, located at 140 Traffic Way.
Both flu shot clinics will be held between 9 a.m. and noon.
Anyone age three and older is welcome.
The nasal spray flu vaccine will not be available, but there will be preservative-free vaccines.
Health officials say these clinics also serve as mass vaccination drills, helping prepare first responders in the case of a pandemic illness.
