Eduardo Huijon Jr. (“Eddie”) joined KSBY News as a Weather Anchor/Bilingual Multimedia Journalist in May 2023.
On occasion, you may find Eddie filling in for the morning or evening weather forecasts and anchor for the weekend newscasts.
Eddie is an Orange County native from Anaheim and spent most of his childhood watching news stations such as KCAL9, KTLA5, FOX 11 News, and ABC7 Eyewitness News when he wasn’t obsessing over Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Lopez’s music during the early to mid-2000s.

Over the years, he learned about Gwen Stefani’s history in Anaheim and the mark she left behind at Loara High School. During his senior year at Loara High School, he decided to take on the role of being the Weather Anchor for the school announcements.
Eddie studied at Fullerton College and earned various associate degrees in Communications: General, Radio Broadcasting, Television/Film, and Film, Television, and Electronic Media.
After transferring from Fullerton College, he attended San Francisco State University and earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast & Electronic Communication Arts, with an emphasis in Electronic Media Journalism.
Eddie began his broadcasting career in Odessa, Texas, and was the Weekend News Anchor/Bilingual Multimedia Journalist for the CBS & Telemundo duopoly station.
He reported, occasionally filled in for the meteorologists, and produced their newscasts in English and Spanish.
In November 2024, Eddie was nominated as ‘Rising Star of the Year’ for the 3rd Annual STRUT Awards in Orange County, CA.
Eddie is a big foodie! He enjoys eating at Cecconi’s, Mother Wolf, Ysabel, Craig’s, and Harriet’s Rooftop in West Hollywood. But when he’s home in Orange County, you can find him at the Anaheim Packing House District, Banzai Bowls, Urth Caffé, Maggiano's Little Italy, JOEY Newport Beach, and Las Brisas.
While on Central Coast, Eddie has taken acting classes at Cuesta College and aims to become a professional actor for film/television in the entertainment industry.
