Clouds are back, cooler weather is back and it'll feel like fall for a bit.

A trough of low pressure has developed off the California coastline.

This system will produce southerly winds, night and morning marine low clouds with areas of mist and drizzle in the coastal regions along with variable mid to high-level clouds and much cooler temperatures.

Friday: High temperatures will range between the mid 70s in Paso Robles to the low 70s in San Luis Obispo. The beaches will range between the low to mid-60s.

Strong afternoon northwesterly winds will mix out the coastal stratus along the coastline on Saturday into Sunday as a cold front moves down the California coastline.

This system will produce well below seasonal temperatures through next week. In fact, Paso Robles will only reach the low 70s Saturday, while San Luis Obispo will struggle to reach the upper 60s to low 70s. Many of the beaches will cool to the mid to high 50s.

Strong afternoon northwesterly winds along the coastline will continue through Wednesday which will make it feel even cooler.
