KSBY is teaming up with local agencies all across the Central Coast to put together the largest community-wide food and toy drive in the area.
On Monday, KSBY's Megan Healy broadcast live from Idler's Home in Santa Maria to host our first ever drive-by donation collection.
Community members drove-by for our 9th annual Season of Hope as we work to practice safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In our effort to keep everyone safe community members can drive-up to a location and participate in contact-less delivery. There are 52 drop-off locations in San Luis Obispo County and 41 drop-off locations in Santa Barbara County.
Donations can include non-perishable food items and new unwrapped toys. All contributions will remain on the Central Coast to help make your make neighbor's holiday season brighter.
KSBY will have another live broadcast next week for community members to drive-by and drop-off their donations. If you cannot make it that day, donations are being collected daily at local agencies including food banks, toy agencies, fire departments, and the California Highway Patrol.
Donations are being collected now through December 11. Financial donations can also be made at this link or at any Pacific Premier Bank location.
