A drive-thru donation event at Cuesta College is benefitting KSBY’s Season of Hope campaign.
Cuesta usually collects food, toy and financial donations at its annual holiday party to donate to the campaign. For each donation, staff would receive a raffle ticket as an incentive to donate, but due to COVID-19, the party didn’t happen this year.
However, that didn’t stop the school from wanting to help out.
They organized drive-thru collection events at the San Luis Obispo campus Thursday afternoon and Paso Robles campus Friday afternoon.
All donations will go to help children and families in need this year on the Central Coast and organizers say the union has agreed to match financial donations up to $500.
