Friday night was extra special in downtown San Luis Obispo because Concerts in the Plaza kicked off.
The 14-week concert series will feature a different band each week.
Local vendors were on hand at the event selling food and drinks during the concert.
Friday’s headliner was RoseColoredWorld performed indie-pop and dance music.
The series runs every Friday night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mission Plaza in Downtown San Luis Obispo until September 13.
Some bands featured this year: The Tipsy Gypsies, The Molly Ringwald Project, Soul Scratch and Truth about Seafood.
