This Thursday, April 25, El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO) will host its annual Empty Bowls event at Atascadero Bible Church.
New this year, attendees will be able to choose from lunch or dinner.
Both meals will include a variety of soups, stews and chowders made by local restaurant chefs, along with artisan breads from local bakeries.
For $25, attendees will receive food and a handmade ceramic bowl that is theirs to keep.
Lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased on the ECHO website or at the Atascadero Chamber Office, located at 6907 El Camino Real in Atascadero.
Money raised at the event will go toward ECHO’s homeless shelter and services.
