The Lompoc Public Library has launched a program that invites children to participate in In-N-Out Burger’s Cover-to-Cover Club reading program.

The program is running from now until April 13 and all children between ages 4 and 12 are encouraged to participate.

Children can sign up for the program at the following locations: the Lompoc Library located at 501 E. North Ave., Village Library located at 3755 Constellation Rd., or the Charlotte’s Web Mobile Children’s Library.

To register, each child must fill out a file card at the library. They will then be given a reading log where they can list the titles of books that they have finished reading.

When the participating children read five books, they receive a coupon that is worth a cheeseburger or hamburger at In-N-Out.

Participants can earn up to three coupons for reading 15 books.

In-N-Out Burger provides this program to the public in hopes that “… by encouraging children to read through positive incentives, they will develop lifelong love for reading.”

In-N-Out burger restaurant locations are located all throughout the Central Coast.
