KSBY is kicking off the 5th annual Your Favorite Charity contest by asking the public for nominations.
From now through Feb. 3, 2019, we will take your nominations of qualified 501c3 public charity organizations whose good work supports San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
There are five categories: Arts & Culture, Education & Youth Development, Environment & Animals, Health, Human Services & Community Development.

After the nomination period closes, a panel of judges will select a top 20 list. Then, between February 18 and March 1, the public will once again be able to vote for “Your Favorite Charity.”
Winners will be announced on March 6, 2019. Four charities will receive $1,000 each and one winner will receive the grand prize of $10,000 and the title of Your Favorite Charity.
KSBY is partnering with Halpin Leadership Industries, The Manse on Marsh and Idler’s Home for the fifth year of this contest.
