Ten local non-profit organizations will receive a total of $10,000 from Pacific Eye as part of their seventh annual Pacific Eye Gives Back Challenge.
The winners of the challenge were chosen by Central Coast residents who voted online.
Family Care Network, Inc. received the most votes to receive a $5,000 donation from the local eye care group.
Seneca Family Agencies received $2,250 and CASA of San Luis Obispo County received a $1,000 donation.
Parents for Joy, The Wellness Kitchen, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Central Coast Commission for Senior Citizens, Captive Hearts, Morro Bay Art Association, and The Center for Family Strengthening each received $250.
Pacific Eye says the ten organizations were selected from dozens of non-profits nominated by community members earlier this year.
