Anchor, Multimedia Journalist. Central Coast native Richard Gearhart joined KSBY News in July of 1990 as a reporter and weather anchor. After co-anchoring Daybreak since 1991, he became co-anchor of KSBY News at 6, 10 and 11pm in January of 2018.
Anchor, Multimedia Journalist. Carina Corral is thrilled to be back on the Central Coast as co-anchor of KSBY News at 5, 6, 10 and 11pm.
Chief Meteorologist. Dave Hovde joined KSBY News as chief meteorologist in the spring of 2003.
Sports Director. A proud cheesehead, Chance comes to KSBY all the way from Wisconsin. He’s excited to start a new journey here on the Central Coast.
Anchor, Multimedia Journalist. Christina Favuzzi is a multimedia journalist and co-anchor of KSBY News Daybreak weekdays from 5-7am. She joined the team in April 2015.
Multimedia Journalist. When offered the opportunity to return home and tell the stories of the people and places of the Central Coast, Brooke Martell jumped at the opportunity. She’s since been a Multimedia Journalist for KSBY News since January of 2016.
Anchor, Multimedia Journalist. Dustin Klemann is co-anchor of the weekend editions of KSBY News at 6:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. He joined the team in June of 2018. Dustin comes to KSBY and the west coast from Billings Montana, where he served as an anchor and reporter at KSBY’s sister station, KTVQ.
Multimedia Journalist. Melissa Newman joined the KSBY News team as a Multimedia Journalist in September of 2018. Melissa’s passion for storytelling goes back to her childhood, where at the age of 8, she wrote, directed and produced her first movie.
Multimedia Journalist. Aja’s first time on a television set was at the young and obviously very impressionable age of 5. Her father ran audio for the local television news station in her home town of Lima, Ohio. The many opportunities to sit at the anchor desk and play in front of the green screen stuck with her, so she went on to The Ohio State University to study it for real.
Sports Anchor/Multimedia Journalist. Rob is a proud New Yorker, but he’s excited to be back on the West Coast doing what he loves.
Multimedia Journalist. Megan Healy joined the news team as a multimedia journalist in June of 2018. Originally from Woodside, California (located in the Bay Area), Megan came to the Central Coast to attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she graduated Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Journalism and a minor in Spanish.
Multimedia Journalist. Ever since he was a kid, Michael knew he wanted to be in broadcast journalism, and is proud to make his dream a reality at KSBY and tell the stories of California’s Central Coast.
