With just 13 games remaining in the regular season, the San Luis Obispo Blues are nine games over .500 at 23-14, and only one game out a playoff berth in the California Collegiate League standings.
Of the remaining games, 11 out of 13 will be played at Sinsheimer Park, most of them coming against division opponents.
“It’s really fun to play in front of an energetic fanbase that San Luis Obispo fans generate here, and the players feed off of that,” Blues head coach Dan Marple said. “With two weeks left in the season, we have plenty of opportunities for the fans to come out. We’re playing the right teams and we’re playing really good baseball.”
The Blues begin a four-game series against the MLB Academy Barons on Friday night.
