San Luis Obispo’s annual Pride celebration is taking place this weekend.
Saturday’s big event is a “Technicolor Unicorn Party” presented by SLO Queerdos. It takes place from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at SLO Brewing Co. in downtown San Luis Obispo. The event includes dancing and performances by local drag queens. Tickets are $20. This is a 21 and over event.
Pride in the Plaza is the main event that takes place on Sunday, July 14. It’s held from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Mission Plaza and includes live performances throughout the afternoon, including Jill Knight & the Daylights, Local Drag Divas, Soft People, and American Idol semi-finalist Ada Vox. The event is free and open to all ages.
Following Pride in the Plaza, a free after-party will be held at Libertine Brewing Company from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
