At least one person was injured when a vehicle hit a pedestrian in Oceano on New Year’s Day.
The California Highway Patrol reported it happened at about 12:25 p.m. in the area of Highway 1 and Pier Avenue.
Preliminary information into CHP reported a male pedestrian was lying next to the vehicle and appeared to be unconscious.
An ambulance was requested at the scene and the Five Cities Fire Authority also assisted.
No other information was immediately available.
