More COVID-19 vaccination appointments in San Luis Obispo County will be available starting Thursday morning.

People 65 and older can begin booking the approximately 3,200 first-dose appointments starting at 9 a.m. either online or over the phone.

Due to supply shortages, first-dose appointments next week will only be available at the Cuesta College vaccination clinic in San Luis Obispo.

There are 5,000 second-dose appointments available next week by appointment only at the county’s three vaccine clinics in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande.

However, the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department says it has been notified of vaccine shipment delays, which could result in the postponement of some second-dose appointments scheduled for next week.

Santa Barbara County has also had to cancel appointments due to shipment delays.
