The Avila Beach Golf Resort hosted a concert on Memorial Day to benefit wounded and disabled veterans.

The patriotic program featured performances from Orcutt native Pryor Baird, who was a contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.”

U2 keyboardist Terry Lawless, Dog Party, and Unfinished Business also performed.

Baird performed with Unfinished Business, and he also played some fan favorites.

He says he was honored to play on behalf of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

“We’re here to say thank you and this is what it’s all about, you know. We live in the greatest country in the world and that’s all because of the veterans, so if you see a veteran, say thank you,” said Baird.

The concert event also featured food and fun for the entire family.

Proceeds will benefit organizations that support veterans, including New Life K9s, Operation Surf, and Quality of Life Plus.
