PG&E helicopter inspections planned across the Central Coast

Starting this week, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) crews and contractors will be working in helicopters to inspect power lines, poles, transmission towers, and electric substations in certain areas around the Central Coast.

Winds still a factor in the forecast

The Central Coast is situated between a ridge off to our west and a trough to the east, this anchors surface high pressure off the coast and produces plenty of wind. We’ll see less wind Friday, but it’ll still be breezy.
Later Friday into Saturday we’ll get some brief offshore winds which will produce a warmer Saturday (in the mid-70s for many)
