No. 7 Mustangs make history with 3-2 win over No. 6 Hawai’i Sunday

The Cal Poly beach volleyball team did something it has never done in its six-year program history by beating No. 6 Hawai’i for the first time Sunday, 3-2. The win capped off a 2-0 day for the No. 7 Mustangs (15-6) after a 5-0 win over UC Davis earlier in the day.

Candlelight vigil honors victims of violent crimes in Lompoc

The Lompoc community came together Sunday for a candlelight vigil remembering those who have lost their lives to violent crimes in the city.
This event comes on the heels of two murders in the last three weeks, one of those was the death of a 17 year old girl who police say was “innocently killed” while babysitting.

Cal Poly completes sweep of Big West series versus CSUN on Sunday with 4-2 victory

Darren Nelson earned his second victory of the season, Michael Clark notched his third save of the series and sixth of the year and Noah Taylor knocked in two runs with his first career three-hit game as Cal Poly completed a sweep of its Big West Conference baseball series against CSUN with a 4-2 victory Sunday afternoon inside Baggett Stadium.
