The Mustangs got a hat trick from sophomore Dominick Trageser in the first half, but the second half was a different story for Cal Poly as fifth-ranked Chapman defeated the Mustangs, 13-8, on Saturday night at Spanos Stadium.

Cal Poly sweeps Saturday doubleheader from California Baptist, Dartmouth

A fifth inning solo home run by sophomore second baseman Hannah Ramelot broke a scoreless deadlock and a two-run single from junior first baseman Hailey Martin provided the winning margin as the Cal Poly softball program opened Saturday action at the CSUN/LMU Tournament with a 3-1 victory versus California Baptist at CSUN’s Matador Field. Cal Poly swept the Saturday doubleheader by edging Dartmouth, 5-4, in game No. 2.

Non-binary Californian turned away from donating blood

Van Levy just wanted to give back. The 31-year-old San Diego resident has donated blood for the past 13 years. But when Levy inquired about donating at the San Diego Blood Bank, the response was discouraging.
