A car fire along Highway 101 slowed traffic through Orcutt Thursday afternoon.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to reports of the fire near the Clark Avenue offramp around 11:48 a.m.
One southbound lane was closed for about 15 minutes, slowing traffic through the area.
Traffic began moving again once the lane reopened.
Fire officials say they were able to respond quickly to put out the flames.
No injuries were reported.
