UPDATE (10:33 a.m.) - The driver of the overturned vehicle was the only person in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

(9:48 a.m.) - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Wednesday morning on Highway 101 between Gaviota and Goleta.
The crash, involving an overturned vehicle, was reported in the southbound lanes just north of Arroyo Quemada Bridge at about 7:40 a.m.
The fast lane was reportedly blocked.
