UPDATE (5:22 p.m.) — Detectives say foul play is not suspected in the investigation of a deceased male on TV Tower Road right off of the Cuesta Grade, according to Tony Cipolla, the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer.

Cipolla says there are no obvious signs of trauma and nothing suspicious in the investigation at this point.

Cipolla says an autopsy will most likely be conducted tomorrow.

A death investigation was launched in the San Luis Obispo area Monday afternoon after a man’s naked body was found in an area off the Cuesta Grade, officials say.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office says it received reports at about 2:30 p.m. of the body, which was reportedly found in a vehicle about 1.25 miles in on TV Tower Road.

A coroner’s investigator and detectives arrived on scene shortly after 4 p.m.

No other information was immediately available.

This is at least the second death reported to authorities Monday in San Luis Obispo County.

A short time earlier, the Paso Robles Police Department says an unresponsive man was found in the Salinas Riverbed adjacent to the trailer barn.

CPR was performed but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say there is nothing suspicious about the man’s death.
